A Perfect 10 Vacation!
Stayed: July 2016 Submitted: July 24, 2016
The property was beautiful, our travel hostess Denise was extra friendly and helpful and I recommend VRBO for anyone!

Jaw dropping views
Stayed: April 2016 Submitted: April 20, 2016
Two families shared an incredible weekend at this warm and comfortable home. We arrived for Cal Poly Open House and were able to enjoy the jaw dropping panoramic views, amazing weather, montano de oro beach walks with our past, present and future Mustangs. Such an inviting home and great base for the weekend- we hope to stay again.

Wake up to Breathtaking Views Daily

I cannot say enough about this property. I spent a lovely week with friends for NYE. The house is centrally located, our party of 8 flew and drove from every imaginable location and all get here with ease. Let's start with the accommodations, there are 3 bedrooms in the main house which is decorated with hand drawn comics and Christmas cards, family pictures, notes and scenic photography. The decor is very "lived in" you can tell families come here and enjoy this as much as visitors. This lived in feeling makes it so great for creating a warm atmosphere for your stay. The kitchen is fully functional and probably one of the most well stocked I've ever encountered on a trip.

Wonderful Property

This is the type of place you almost don't want to review because you want to keep it a secret. The house itself is fine (super clean, dated) but the true attraction is the property. I have lived on the California Coast for 25+ years and the best way I can describe this place is...Magical.

It is not close to the action; it is a chillin' and grillin' with family and friends type of place. It is easy to foray into Los Osos, Morro Bay, or SLO but you may not want to leave the property.

Don't forget to drive into Montana de Oro State Park---you are situated right at the entrance. You won't regret it.

Pictures Don't Capture the Views

Clean, well-maintained, as described. Kelly, the owner's assistant, contacted us by phone to confirm arrival details and to provide contact if any assistance was needed during stay. Home is older but extremely well-maintained (almost pristine) and in great working condition. Only problems observed: Slow water flow from sink faucet in hall bath due to low flow aerators. Sink drain in hall bath did not hold water for shaving. Right front coil unit on cooktop did not reach full output but left rear unit of the same size worked flawlessly. Shower in hall bath bit tight spacewise for me (6'1", 210lb) but shower off master was much more spacious.
